20 laps at Laguna Seca, max lap time is 1:39. We're on right now if you wanna join our practice session real quick before the race starts.
1) Like I mentioned in the B450 post-race, before you add or subtract BoP adjustments build your car to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! specifications (along with all mandatory upgrades) and then go from there, that way all your cars keep as many similar upgrades as possible to make the racing more even. If you need to slow your car down begin by taking off tire width and compound, that way you won't get eaten alive on the straights by everyone else like you would if you removed power upgrades.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
1) When setting lap times to base your BoP adjustments off of, don't just run like three or four laps and then call it a day, most of us (me included, my bad) ran faster than the max time at Sebring just because we got used to the track as the race progressed. The more you familiarize yourself with the course before the race, the faster and more consistent your times will be, and the less PI you'll have to add.
3) Laguna Seca is a very tight track so please try and avoid contact as well as you can. As proved last week, incidents will happen but do your best to minimize them: be aware of your surroundings, give other racers plenty of room, no sudden cuts across the track, etc. etc. If you do knock someone off-track it'd be really cool of you to pull off to the side and let the other guy rejoin before you do.
4) If you've got a good Internet connection please let me know in case we need a different host.
Might be on tonight for a practice session, I'll make a post if I am.

I'm probably going to be at Road America watching Autocross, so the Rolling Chicane will be sitting this one out.

Same, love Laguna Seca. And thanks for volunteering to host, shouldn't be a problem this week but you know how Fourza's servers are...

I was going to say more irrational than an angry ex off her psychosis meds but yeah that works too.

Well, catch you then man, could always join in the B450 series as well so you don't go two weeks without racing.

Am I allowed to make a new car? Mine is just too stubborn.

Hopefully we can get going at 4:15, I got a hockey game to go to, but I'd like to get this race in before I go.

We'll try, it depends on when Parlock gets on. Last race he was there at 4:20 so hopefully that's not too late.

Oh yeah, you can change cars at any point during the season, you're not just stuck with whatever one you pick first. If you haven't picked a car yet I'd recommend the Javelin or '70 Camaro, both are extremely good-handling cars which is what you'll need at Laguna Seca.

Yeah I chose the Shelby which handled poorly.

We'll most likely be alright, but later than 4:40 may be cutting it close. If I have to leave early then I will.

Oh there's no way we'll be starting that late again, now that I'm at my college apartment my Internet should be fine. Last week was just weird, even the Le Mans race we did in June didn't have that many problems and it had like 15 people in the lobby.

Surprisingly none of the Mustangs are that great of cars, I actually picked the Boss 9 to handicap myself in this series. Even the '65, light as it is, is a bit crap, you'd figure something that small would kill in the corners but it just doesn't. Like I said, Camaro and Javelin are what you want to go with for handling, the Mustangs just aren't up to par.
